Symplicity is currently seeking Strategic Account Executives (“SAE”) to manage existing client accounts as well as develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients in the Higher-Education space. The Strategic Account Executives will report to the Regional Vice President of their territory, and reside within that region. We are currently hiring one (1) West Regional SAE and two (2) East Regional SAEs.
The SAEs will be charged with identifying and closing sales opportunities with the clients managed within their assigned territory, such as contract renewals, up-sells, cross-sells, etc. Additionally they will provide a high level of quality of service to our clients. They will need to demonstrate solution-selling skills and effectively manage internal relationships with the Sales and Client Services departments to ensure complete client satisfaction and meet sales objectives.
Present Symplicity’s Higher-Education products and services to current and prospective clients on various campuses within assigned territory
Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown
Work with Sales and Client Services teams to ensure complete client satisfaction with Symplicity products
Call on existing clients in an effort to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations
Develop and actively pursue list of targeted Key Accounts within assigned territory and create individual plans of action
Set aggressive goals for annual revenue achievement against each account
Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report
Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all business opportunities
Manage, monitor and report sales activities of Junior Account Executives
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree is required
At least 10 years of experience in client-facing, revenue-generating role with proven track record of success
Experience selling or managing accounts in higher-education space required
Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
Enterprise software sales expertise is vital
Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include relationship management, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
